Jackson Warhol Under the Hammer

Looks like we're going to see lots of Little Mr Michael Jackson memorabilia go under the hammer. The first prominent piece is this Warhol portrait commissioned in 1984 to coincide with the release of the Thriller Album.

"This Andy Warhol portrait brings together the uncontested King of Pop Art with the uncontested King of Pop," said Janet Lehr, acting for the seller.

Warhol's painting of actress Liz Taylor, fetched $23.7m (£14m) in 2007.

If you want to catch a glimpse at the portrait before it's auctioned off in New York, the Warhol will be on display at London's British Music Experience at the O2 Arena.
